In Like a Lion...
Mar. 1st, 2005 02:03 amSodexho owns my soul, but at least they're paying me. I took Abby's shift, since she was sick, and that was pretty cool. I prefer cahsiering to serving, but they gyped me out of food again. They seem to like making a habit of that. It worked out though. I got chicken from the Red Room.
I am more at peace today than I have been in about a week. I feel like the pieces are falling back into place. It'll be a busy week, but no more drama. At least not for a few days. I won't ask for more than that because, as we all know, Olivet isn't reality. It's a soap opera. We'd lose our viewing audience if we ever lived normal lives.
I'm really excited about this weekend. Now I only have to survive the week. Yay for Bible tests, stratagy presentations, and three research projects. Gotta love it. Just wait 'til next week when I have to start my exegesis.
It's late, but it's worth it. I had time with friends to catch up, to work things out, and to just spend time. I've missed that. There's still some pain. I accidently resurrected the little voice in the back of my head that tries to rip me to shreds and I'm fighting to put it back. But God is faithful and tomorrow will be a new day.
It's March, everyone, and in like a lion it comes...
