Check with your doc but an old GP of mine cured an antibiotic resistant infected toe of mine with epsom salts (magnesium sulfate). I just soaked my foot in a saturated soln of epsom salts (at any pharmacy) or you can use a compress on a difficult body part like an elbow. I do not know what type of bug it was because... they didn't tell me!! The Old GP was retired and just told me to do it. The infection cleared up so I stopped going to the bad doc and found another. (My old GP was retired at the time but I saw him when I was visiting my Dad. They were friends.)
Worth a look. Especially given how difficult it will be for your immune system to take care of zits gone bad.
